Egg oil tempera is a type of paint that combines the traditional tempera painting technique with oil painting. It is made by mixing pigments with a mixture of egg yolk and oil, such as hemp seed oil. This creates a paint that has the fast-drying properties of tempera paint, but with the added durability and resistance to water damage of oil paint. It can be used to create paintings on wood, canvas, or other surfaces. 

Rove + Dwell Tempera Paint is made with natural earth and mineral pigments. Our historic tempera recipe is based from a nordic family recipe centuries old. We are thrilled to share this recipe with you as we develop our full color line.
